Featherock Inc., makers of lightweight, natural volcanic stone, have begun distributing their products out of a central Canadian location. Palletized assortments of planters, crated landscape boulders, and pumice gravel are now stocked by Shelmerdine Garden Center Ltd in Headingley, Manitoba, and are ready for quick shipment within Canada. The distribution agreement was born out of a high demand for the natural stone planters, which are a perfect compliment to the succulent and tillandsia plant craze. As well, the lightweight pumice gravel and boulders are ideal for orchid growers, green roof installers, and home hardscaping projects.
