Not one to let a perfectly good outdoor grill go to waste, Jessica Knudson, an employee of Village Green Home & Garden in Rockford, Ill., recycled some thrown-out merchandise into this colorful display for fairy gardening products. Knudson says her inspiration for the display was to not only advertise the decorative mini-garden accessories, but also to give customers ideas for their own fairy gardens. “We just try to give people other ideas of what they can do, rather than just simply planting them in the ground or in a planter,” she says. “Just trying to think outside the box and do different things.” This display was spotted at Village Green during the Chicago-area garden center tour as part of IGC Show 2015.
