spoga+gafa 2015 releases preliminary report and itinerary

The international event's new segmented layout aims to improve the exhibition structure.

spoga+gafa 2015 is expected to hit a new attendance record, with more than 2,000 suppliers from more than 60 countries exhibiting their new garden products from August 30 to Sept. 1.

"Spanning around 225,000 m² of exhibition space, spoga+gafa covers almost the entire grounds, almost 90 percent of the planned surface has already been booked...The exhibition segments of spoga+gafa have been restructured and the segmental layout has been redesigned this year. With the division into four exhibition areas instead of the previous five, the complexity of the variety of products has been reduced. From the purchasing point of view, this enables related product groups to be located closer together and creates more efficient routes for the flow of visitors," says Katharina C. Hamma, COO of Koelnmesse GmbH.

The four new segments: garden living, garden creation&care, garden bbq&fun and garden unique represent the entire spectrum of the garden market.

Garden unique: Top brands, fresh designs and more garden unique has been the platform for outdoor premium brands at spoga+gafa for the last five years. Submitted by young designers or design students and selected by an international jury of experts, they all in the running to win the coveted young designer prize 'unique youngstar' 2015. The festive award ceremony of the young talents' prize, which is endowed with prize-money totalling 6,000 Euros will be held on the first day of the trade fair at 4 p.m. on August 30.
