A New Leaf retail garden center reopened its doors over the weekend after vandals caused about $25,000 in damages and $40,000 in profit losses during an overnight break-in June 2, according to a report from Tulsa World.
As a result of the break-in, A New Leaf lost about one-third of its seasonal revenue, CEO Mary Ogle told Tulsa World. However, after distributors from Kansas and Oklahoma donated products to the garden center to make up for the damages, it was able to reopen June 10 and host a weekend sale.
