Spring Meadow Nursery owner Dale Deppe receives WNLA Western Legend Award

The Western Nursery & Landscape Association (WNLA) honored several leaders in the horticulture industry at its Jan. 16 banquet. The Western Legend Award recognizes a lifetime of sustained and significant professional achievement and public service to the green industry.

Deppe expressed his deep appreciation for the award.

“It’s an honor to accept this award on behalf of our family of Spring Meadow plant geeks, plant breeders, growers, and plant lovers across the country,” he said.

Dale Deppe has committed his 47-year career to plant propagation and serving the nursery industry. Founded in 1981, Spring Meadow has grown from a small propagation nursery to one of the largest providers of proprietary plant materials in North America and under his guidance, has thrived on the concept that everyone should have access to, and be able to profit from, superior new plants.
