Hanging basket guru Jonn Karsseboom, owner of The Garden Corner in Tualatin, Ore., thinks outside of the planter when creating his unique and stunning suspended flower beds. One of the most popular is the Volkswagen hubcap hanging basket he plants with succulents and potting pebbles. “We experiment a lot,” he explains. “We once were developing hanging baskets for musicians and asked, ‘Can you plant a violin?’ That was a bad idea.”
