This year, Hicks Nurseries’ Flower & Garden Show celebrates “The Power of Flowers.” Visitors to the 28th annual Flower Show will discover gardens that showcase the amazing possibilities available to you in the world of flowers. The show, which runs March 8-25, is free and indoors. It is open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Your stroll through the gardens begins with a glimpse behind the scenes of how flowers are grown into the plants you see each spring at Hicks Nurseries. Artistic floral displays will inspire you to dream of the potential your own garden holds.
For children, there is an interactive and whimsical space for young gardeners to learn how flowers grow. Visit our schoolhouse and discover the role of bees in making flowers.

Attendees can also visit the feature garden, a home landscape designed by our Landscape Design/Build division. This garden will provide homeowners with a plethora of ideas. It features blooming hydrangeas, rhododendrons, perennial astilbe, hosta and hinoki cypress, among other plants. For outdoor entertaining inspiration, we have installed bluestone patios, a stone fireplace, pond and an outdoor firepit. Let us help you discover the endless possibilities your own garden holds.
After taking in the beauty of the gardens, visit the Palm Court for refreshments, fanciful sweets and specialty teas. Peruse the surrounding boutique of gift plants and accessories meant to bring warmth and happiness to your home or office.
During the 2018 Flower & Garden Show, Hicks will feature more than 18 free seminars about popular gardening concepts including organic lawn care, container gardening, pruning and more.
