Consumer care requirements:
This clematis requires a hard prune in early spring down to about 8 inches.
Habit:
Stunning dark red flowers with darker red anthers on a full, bushy plant. Very free flowering, with flowers that are 5 to 6 inches.

4 to 5 feet

Full to partial sun

Display tip:
Clematis can be grown in 18-inch or larger containers, and will reach a height of 4 to 5 feet. Add annuals at the base to shade the root.
Key features:
This clematis is part of the ‘Boulevard Collection.’ Varieties in this collection are compact plants that provide instant color in the garden with multiple blooms. They bloom late spring through late summer and will bloom again in autumn. Boulevard Clematis are ideal for containers and trellises.
