Check out some of these cute companions around the garden, proving that sometimes, the best accessory to plants is our pets.


Whether it’s customers’ dogs just passing through or a cat that’s a full-time employee (OK, or social media star), patrons and employees can’t get enough of their furry friends no matter what time of year it is. Remind customers that IGCs are an experience — after all, where else can they buy plants and interact with adorable cats and dogs? So check out some of these cute companions, proving that sometimes, the best accessory to plants is our pets.
At Fairview Garden Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, a “Puppies & Poinsettias” event benefitting a local animal rescue gave customers the chance to meet and adopt dogs at the garden center.
