The Garden Center Group explored several Nashville, Tennessee, locations as part of its Fall Event. The stops were carefully curated to inspire IGC owners and managers with ideas to take home to their businesses. The tour included Gardens of Babylon, Moore & Moore Garden Center and Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.

The company’s slogan, “Cultivating Lifestyles,” is put to good use in a dedicated space for edible crops. Herbs like thyme, rosemary and oregano, along with produce and fruit products are collected in this section of the IGC.

Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate. It includes a terrace garden, perennial garden and a dogwood collection that features 40 species.

Cheekwood’s paths are decorated with scarecrows made by local schools and organizations. The Scarecrow Selfie contest idea allows visitors to take selfies with their favorite scarecrow, and share them on Instagram tagging @Cheekwood and using the #ScarecrowSelfie hashtag.
