TDI Brands enters into exclusive license agreement with Wagner

Tierra Garden Division will distribute Wagner plant caddies in the U.S.

On Sept. 24, TDI Brands announced it entered into an exclusive licensing agreement within the lawn and garden market with Wagner, a European manufacturer of plant caddies.

Under the terms of the agreement, TDI Brands will be the exclusive distributor of Wagner plant caddy products in the United States, making them the go-to supplier for U.S.-based garden centers, nurseries and online retailers. The Wagner brand will become part of the Tierra Garden Wholesale Division, which currently offers over 1,500 gardening tools, accessories and accents. Wagner will be added to the increasing list of brands offered by the company, including DeWit Garden Tools, Peacock Plant Supports, Haxnicks Garden Solutions, Tierra Pro Tools and Little Pals Kids Gardening, among others.

Founded in 1977 in the Black Forest of Germany, Wagner began by manufacturing casters for the furniture industry. Wagner is a family-owned business and is a manufacturer of furniture components in Europe. Their portfolio includes furniture accessories which fulfill criteria such as autonomy, flexibility and sustainability in processing and use. TDI Brands will distribute Wagner plant caddy/trolley product lines in the United States.

“This partnership allows us to continue our mission of providing, unique, distinctive, and timeless garden products and strengthens our position within the industry, making it easier for our customers to get the products they need to serve their gardening patrons,” said Mike Bartley, president of TDI Brands.
