As part of the Fertile Ground Live Event Series, we talk with leaders from Suburban Lawn & Garden, Colonial Gardens and Family Tree Nursery about building customer connections.
From cafés to concerts, Kansas City-area garden centers are making their stores the go-to venues for shopping and socializing, establishing third places all while amplifying their brands and driving profitability.
As part of Garden Center magazine's Fertile Ground Live Event Series, Editor Patrick Alan Coleman talks with Matt Stueck of Suburban Lawn & Garden, Paul Abugattas of Colonial Gardens and Jonah Nelson of Family Tree Nursery to learn how these independent retailers are working to build community connections with their customers.
These three IGCs are also tour stops during the Garden Center Conference & Expo garden center tour on Aug. 5. Space is limited, so register here to participate in the tour and visit these inspiring locations in person!
Anyone wishing to participate in the garden center tour must also be registered to attend the Garden Center Conference & Expo. Requests to attend only the tour on Aug. 5 will be denied. The Conference & Expo Pass is $249 until July 31 and $389 from Aug. 1 to the start of the show; the Expo Only Pass is $99 until July 31 and $139 from Aug. 1 to the start of the show.
