When viewers tune into this year’s Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day, they can expect to see one organic gardening float that will surely stop them in their tracks as well as the critters that frequent their yards and gardens. The float, titled “In Good Nature,” is the brainchild of first time participant and animal repellent manufacturer Messina Wildlife Management and renowned float builders AES Creative.
The float features an organic gardening enthusiast’s dream come true: bright, vibrant flowers and hearty vegetables protected from the all too frequent attack of animals including a deer, rabbit, groundhog, skunk, raccoon, beaver, mole, goose, chipmunk and even an armadillo. As viewers tune in to see the amazing designs created entirely out of live plant material, Messina Wildlife hopes to send the message that it is their line of Animal Stopper products providing the protection from unwelcome garden pests.
“We really can’t wait to see the expression on people’s faces when they see our float,” said James D. Messina, vice president. “Everyone I know can relate to our theme. This is really our salute to the thousands of home owners and gardeners who’ve embraced our products over the years.”
