Nov. 24 is Small Business Saturday - a day to celebrate and support small businesses. The U.S. Small Business Administration and organizations across the country will show their support for small businesses, and their contributions to their communities.
The Small Business Matters blog also has a lot of advice on how to prepare for the holiday season like “7 Holiday Marketing Tips on a Limited Budget” and “5 Things to Know Now About Hiring Temporary Workers for the 2012 Holiday Season.”
The Small Business Saturday website also has lots of free marketing materials including sample posters, press releases and social media upgrades.
