Denver, Co., June 19, 2017 – Sue Amatangelo has joined the WaterPulse team as its national sales manager.
“Customers will find a huge wealth of information and knowledge in Sue,” Jim Heffernan, CEO of
WaterPulse, says. “Her depth and breadth of experience, and her time on both the grower and retail sides of the industry, enable her to serve and understand our entire customer base no matter their focus.”
Amatangelo has worked closely with brokers, growers, independent retailers and large retailers in her 15 years of horticulture experience and 30 years of sale experience. Most recently, she served as the Eastern U.S. and Canada sales manager for EuroAmerican Propagators. Her career also includes time as brand manager for Park Seed, national retail accounts manager for Ball Horticultural Company and director for Home & Garden Showplace, the independent garden center division of the True Value Company.
She is currently a national judge for America in Bloom and a recent horticultural superintendent for the Kane County Fair in Illinois. She is a past board member of Garden Centers of America and the University of Illinois Kane County Council. Amatangelo became a master gardener for the University of Illinois and won the Illinois Outstanding Master Gardener Award.
