Monrovia announced its 2025 holiday program, which includes two seasonal wraps, providing grab-and-go gift options that also add festive flair to garden center shelves.
New this year is a red and green tartan plaid for conifers and evergreens. Monrovia’s classic holiday berry wrap is returning for flowering plants and other giftable favorites.

“Our customers look forward to our holiday program each year, and we’re thrilled to offer our new tartan wrap design alongside our iconic holiday berry,” said Katie Tamony, CMO and trendspotter at Monrovia. “We chose tartan for its timeless, classic look that evokes heartwarming memories and cozy feelings, the perfect complement to our stunning and versatile crimson holiday wrap. Both these designs enhance garden center displays and offer convenient pre-wrapped gifts for busy holiday shoppers.”
Garden center customers choose the plants, which are then shipped ready-wrapped for display. Holiday wraps, along with seasonal tags, are complimentary and are available for #1, #2 and #5 sizes. In addition, special pricing is now available on Dwarf Alberta Spruce.
“Consumers are craving unique, thoughtful holiday and host gift ideas, and plants are presents that keep on giving,” added Tamony. “There’s something for everyone — from evergreens to winter bloomers to culinary plants — and the gift wrapping is already done.”
Monrovia is also hosting a holiday decorating contest for garden centers via social media. From Nov. 1 to 30, 2025, garden centers can tag @monroviaplants when posting a picture of their in-store display. Monrovia’s favorite displays will be shared with their followers, asking them to vote on which they like the best. The garden center that gets the most votes on its display will win 20 Monrovia beanies for its staff.
