Jonathan Bardzik, culinary storyteller and horticulture industry entertainer, is presenting easy-to-follow recipes featuring All-America Selections winning vegetables. Entries in Bardzik's new video series are being released via email and can be seen on YouTube on the National Garden Bureau's channel.
The video series was announced last year as an effort to promote AAS Edible Winners and encourage cooking with fresh, well-performing ingredients.

After eighty-two years of conducting trials to declare AAS Winners, the organization now has more than 330 individual varieties that have been “Tested Nationally & Proven Locally.”
'Carmen' is an Italian bull's horn type pepper, which refers to its elongated shape. It is about 6 inches long. The medium thick flesh is the sweetest when it is ripe red, but 'Carmen' peppers are sweet even when immature or green. It is known to ripen to red early.
