ALEXANDRIA, VA – June 6, 2016 – The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is going tropical this year, holding its 2016 Annual Fundraising Dinner in Hawaii.
The floriculture industry's biggest fundraiser of the year will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua (Maui).
The dinner, held in conjunction with the Society of American Florists' Annual Convention, will highlight AFE's latest industry efforts and connect hundreds of floral industry professionals, while raising money to support future floriculture research and grants.
The Endowment will present new named funds, recognize donors reaching new giving levels, highlight new consumer research and other scientific research and educational projects.
There are several sponsorship opportunities available (including preferred seating), and all sponsors will be recognized during the dinner, in the printed program, on AFE's website and in the AFE Bulletin, which reaches more than 10,000 industry members.
Contributions and sponsorships help offset administrative and dinner expenses, allowing more funding for research, grants and educational efforts that benefit the entire floral industry.
