Aris Horticulture, Inc. is in the process of negotiating to acquire selected assets of McGregor Plant Sales based in Carlsbad, California. All customer and vendor orders are transferring to Aris, along with key McGregor staff. A West Coast presence in the San Diego area will be maintained to support that sales territory, drive new business development and service industry relationships. All orders booked with McGregor for Jan. 1, 2012, and beyond will be managed and invoiced by Aris.
"I look forward to integrating McGregor's and Aris Horticultural Services' sales teams to provide a strong regional network with national coverage for our combined product lines. The McGregor team brings a wealth of knowledge, especially in dealings with off-shore suppliers of unrooted perennials. This is enhanced by the experienced customer support staff at our Lancaster, Pennsylvania, facility," says Bill Riffey, Aris vice president sales and marketing. "Systems are in place to allow for the orderly and complete transfer of pending orders to Aris for fulfillment."
Aris Horticulture, Inc., a 90-year-old company, continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the horticultural market. Product brands include Green Leaf Plants, offering starter and pre-finished plants, and Keepsake Plants, offering finished plant material.
