Bower & Branch has expanded its grower network with the addition of Oregon Pride Nurseries in McMinnville, Oregon.
“Bower & Branch has a great grower network already,” Bower & Branch grower relationship manager, Jeff Thompson says. “Oregon Pride is an excellent grower in all aspects. They grow an outstanding specialty conifer line that brings both quality and selection to the Bower & Branch product line. They are in the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Grower Assisted Inspection Program. They are also in the Systems Approach to Nursery Certification Program.”
Mark Van Hoef and his wife, Carolyn, started Oregon Pride Nurseries in 1989, and they have been committed to independent garden centers ever since, according to a press release.
“We’re not an e-commerce company,” Mark Van Hoef says. “We were slow to move at first, but Bower & Branch definitely has something that we want to be a part of.”
Oregon Pride Nurseries is Bower & Branch’s sixth network grower after Eaton Farms, Decker’s Nursery, Natorp’s, Rusty Oak Nursery, and Woodburn Nursery & Azaleas, which is also located in Oregon.
