ECGC Distributors Ltd. announced the addition of Calloway’s Nursery as a new member of the LLC last week.
“Calloway’s Nursery brings ECGC's total store count to 110, with over $400 million in sales throughout the country. The member firms share best practices and make significant cooperative buying decisions. We are looking forward to Jim Estill and his team’s involvement in our group,” said Jens Molbak, ECGC chairman and CEO of Molbak’s in Washington state.
Calloway’s Nursery was founded in 1986 by Estill/Cosby Enterprises and is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. The leadership team of Jim Estill, John Cosby and John Peters opened their first four stores in spring 1987. By 1998 they had expanded to sixteen stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 1999 Calloway’s acquired Cornelius Nurseries in Houston with three retail locations.
