Now in its 38th year, the CanWest Horticulture Expo will take place from Sept. 25-26, 2019, at Tradex in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. Organized and presented by the BC Landscape and Nursery Association, CanWest features over 300 booths and attracts over 2,500+ delegates representing landscape professionals, garden centers, wholesale nursery growers and municipalities from across BC and beyond.
There are also many networking and training opportunities available at the CanWest Hort Expo, from its extensive program of educational workshops and symposiums to the Opening Day Tailgate Party. All workshops and seminars are eligible for CEUs/Continuing Education Units, as is volunteering for the Expo.
This year’s theme for the CanWest Hort Expo is “Vintage” – come see the vintage-themed work of the entrants in this year’s Container Competition and the contenders for the Best in Show Booth Award as well as the new-for-2019 Spirit Award.
Booths at CanWest start at $995 for BCLNA members ($1,295 for non-members.) Equipment suppliers and vehicle dealers are eligible for bulk space booth pricing: call CanWest management to discuss. Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided to all CanWest registrants.
CanWest delegates can take advantage of special hotel rates: $109 a night at either the Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre or the Sandman Abbotsford Airport Hotel. Deals are also available for WestJet flights – please refer to the Hotel & Travel section on the CanWest website for details.
