The U.S. Census Bureau has created an interactive map that allows people to browse information like median household income, population 65 and older and education level by neighborhood.
The "Census Explorer" has eight different measures people can search by, such as total population, percecnt of owner occupied homes and percent in the labor force. Data from the 1990 and 2000 Census as well as the 2012, 5-year American Community Survey are included on the map so that people can see how the neighborhoods have changed in the past few decades.
