In our never-ending-except-for-taking-off-weekends quest to find the perfect Fall Festival, we were oh-so-happy the compass helped direct us toward Rolling Green Nursery in Greenland, N.H.
The 20-year-old garden center will host its annual Halloween Open House on Saturday, Oct. 29, and like almost everything else about one of the more fun garden centers in the country this event will offer a good time for attendees of all ages.
To wit, there will be a people and pet costume contest. We're going to assume the photo above represents members of the latter group; in any case, Rolling Green Nursery should have some notable characters on site most of the day.
While there they also can enjoy an RG staff chili cook-off (judged by customers), fresh apple cider, a tractor hay ride, halloween treats, a raffle, a 25% sales on a number of fall favorites ... AND ... a 5 for 5 promotion that grants customers 5% off a purchase when they donate $5 or $5 worth of food items to be forwarded to a local charity.
This is clearly a fun event, and fun events beget fun times. Not to mention some fun "Cha-ching!"
Looking for a Cha-ching! you might have missed? Go to the search box and type Cha-ching! Items are listed by date.
