Chances are good that you do something special for the Thanksgiving season at your garden center. But do you do pies?
Harvey's Farm in Westorough, Mass., offers pies and other baked goods at the store during this special holiday, and the customers find the extra service a welcome touch that dovetails nicely with the decorative items they also find at the store during this time of year.
All the pies are made from scratch and include holiday favorites such as Pumpkin and Pecan, as well as some of the staff''s personal favorites such as Coconut Cream and Apple Crunch. For the customers' convenience, pies are available in both 10-inch and 6-inch sizes.
For the sake of variety, the garden center also sells delicious coffee cakes in seven flavors, including Cinnamon, Pumpkin and Cranberry, as well as chocolate and pumpkin whoopie pies.
We're not sure exactly what a whoopie pie is, but we bet the staff at Harvey's Farm says "whoopie!" every time the cash register says "Cha-ching!" this Thanksgiving season.
Looking for a Cha-ching! you might have missed? Go to the search box and type Cha-ching! Items are listed by date.
