If you're going to blog, you really need to blog regularly, a notion not lost on the staff at Evergreen Home & Garden Showplace in Kingsport, Tenn.
The garden center posts a daily blog on its website, with topics that run the gamut. The service -- and that's what it is today, with so many young customers who are techno-savvy and looking any- and everywhere to find and exchange ideas -- helps Evergreen bond with a new breed of shopper.
It's just another way to engage customers, a relatively new one to this industry -- and one that Evergreen does very well. And, as you know if you've been checking in on these notes on a regular basis, doing something very well generally = Cha-ching!
