Bob's Garden Center in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., is a display haven. A welcoming arbor turns a growing greenhouse into a retailer showcase. Carefully chosen props ad fun and whimsy to display.
But where Bob's really turns heads -- and dollars -- is with a large, marquee-style sign prominently located in the middle of the plant yards that keeps customers in the know about sales and happenings at the store.
In a sense, the sign is a desination within a destination store. It's an attention grabber that attracts and informs at the same time.
It also is good for a fair share of "Cha-ching!," to boot.
