Next month and through the end of the year, the folks who visit Roger's Gardens in Corona Del Mar, Calif., won't be just customers; they'll also become patrons of the arts.
Roger's Gardens is one of a growing number of garden retailers to broaden its footprint with an art gallery. From October through December, the gallery will feature noted plein air painters in California and the United States. The works of seven award-winning painters along with art from prestigious invited guest artists will be on display, thus providing the garden center with an unconventional way to broaden its appeal to potential customers.
Of course, whoever visits the center will see a lot of unconventional, as well as a lot of the staple items. Roger's Gardens prides itself on providing not only items to buy, but items to experience. As a result, it has become one of the more successful operations in all of California.
You might say it is a work of art. You definitely can say it has this "Cha-ching!" thing figured out.
Looking for a Cha-ching! you might have missed? Go to the search box and type Cha-ching! Items are listed by date.
