Chalet is urging customers to have fun with their girlfriends after work and pick up easy tips for summer outdoor decorating and entertaining during the garden center's first Ladies Night Out event on June 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm.
Shoppers who visit the Wilmette, Ill., store can enjoy wine tasting from Ben Kaehler’s Acute Angle Wines, light appetizers and desserts. Additionally, they can take advantage of specially-priced in-store items for this one night only. They'll receive 20 percent off Chalet Glass House topiaries, cactus, succulents and orchids -- and have a chance to be first in line for spring clearance items.
Other highlights will include a chance to register to win raffle and door prizes, with suggested participation donations going to New Trier Township and The Harvest food pantries. Prizes include a seasonal container planted at your home for one year ($750 value), a year’s supply of pet food ($500 value), tree with installation ($500 value), entertaining-themed basket (value $250), custom-designed indoor plant arrangement (value $200), and outdoor fire chiminea with wood.
There also will be an opportunity to learn ideas for unique outdoor entertaining with Chalet’s engaging demonstrations and idea vignettes, including:
• Table Scapes – artfully arranged themed tableaus with practical, simple and quick entertaining and decorating ideas
