In protest of the health care reform bill, an American flag flew upside down Monday over Wright's Nursery in Arvada, Colo., NBC 9News.com reported.
One of the nursery's owners, Russell Wright, said that even though he loves his country, the House vote Sunday night was the final straw for him. He feels lawmakers in Washington just don't listen to their constituents anymore and this was his way of protesting.
Wright said people shouted angrily at him on Monday and others supported him.
The protest was a one-day event. On Tuesday, Wright flew the stars and stripes properly.
