Contech acquires Rainforest Sprinklers product line

Contech Enterprises just announced the acquisition of the Rainforest Ecological Sprinklers product line from British Columbia-based Pacific Sprinklers Ltd. The deal will see the Rainforest Ecological Sprinklers immediately available to Contech distributors, retailers and customers.

Designed to reduce water use, Rainforest Sprinklers break-up water droplets to improve delivery of water to the root-zone and prevent water from pooling and running off. The heart-shaped sprinklers provide even coverage to an area of up to 2,000 square-feet, cannot clog and will operate even at low water pressures.

With the acquisition, Contech expands its existing line of innovative lawn and garden product offerings. “Rainforest Sprinklers are a natural fit with our current lawn and garden assortment” commented Contech CEO Mark Grambart. “The unique, water-conserving design of the sprinklers appealed to us and fit well with our goal of providing innovative, environmentally-friendly products.”  

Pacific Sprinklers owners, Mark and Lori Loran are excited about the acquisition. “Contech’s expertise in the lawn and garden industry along with their established distribution channels throughout Canada and the U.S. made them a perfect fit for the Rainforest Sprinkler line,” said Mark Loran. “With this acquisition Contech has gained a strong product line that will drive our growth in the lawn and garden segment” added Grambart.
