From lehighvalleylive.com and The Morning Call:
No injuries were reported after Country Lawnscape, an Easton, Pa., garden center and landscape business, was destroyed in a fire Monday morning.
Fire officials say a firefighter driving past the Williams Township landscaping business saw flames leaping from the front of the building early Monday morning, but a quick response couldn't stop the blaze from spreading. The fire gutted Country Lawnscape Center at 1850 Morgan Hill Road. The fire was reported just after 8 a.m.
Williams Township Fire Company officials were not immediately available to comment.
Representatives of Country Lawnscape announced the fire on the business's Facebook page later Monday morning.
"I'm sure most of you have seen the news by now, but this morning the Country Lawnscape caught fire," the company's post reads. "Carol and Joe are both safe and unharmed. We appreciate all the kind words and prayers we are receiving. We will keep you all updated. Thank you everyone."
The owners of Country Lawnscape could not immediately be reached for comment.
