Dallas Market Center's Outdoor Living section, a 31,000-square-foot showroom in the International Trade Plaza, saw multi-million dollar sales during 2011 Markets, surpassing the expectations of show organizers.
Additionally, about $1 million in revenue were generated during non-Market time, and daily, non-Market traffic topped the 5,000 buyer mark in 2011 -- all promising signs in this challenging economy, said Cindy Morris, COO of the Dallas Market Center.
“Outdoor Living ends 2011 above its annual goals,” Morris said. “Sales during Markets are vastly important for all of our showrooms, and to see Outdoor Living have such success during non-Market periods proves the showroom to be an intelligent, year-long investment for vendors.”
Dallas Market Center generally hosts around 50,000 attendees during major Total Home & Gift Markets in January and June. Open daily Monday-Friday to buyers, Outdoor Living (The Plaza 1-1F201) carries dozens of lines under one roof and is completely dedicated to all things outdoors, featuring products ranging from outdoor furniture, lighting, rugs, and fountains to statuary, pottery, garden accessories, fire pits, and more. Lines in Outdoor Living can service both residential and commercial needs.
The upcoming winter Market is set for Jan. 18-24, 2012. A complete Market schedule is available on the Dallas Market Center website. Also, keep up-to-date on market information by visiting Dallas Market Center on Facebook and Twitter.
