The Garden Center Group announced that beginning March 1, Danny Summers of Summers & Associates will assume the role of community manager for The Garden Center Group, a Maryland-based business development firm for garden centers and suppliers. His focus will be to guide the communication between retailers and The Group’s service providers and preferred vendors; an alliance consisting of over 150 firms.
Summers will also play a major role in managing growth of The Garden Center Group community.
“The difficult business climate of today has caused every company involved in the horticulture industry to pay more attention to the business side of their business," said Summers.
