The Horticultural Research Institute is accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-2019 school year, but applications must be submitted by Sept. 14.
Scholarships totaling nearly $20,000 are made possible by seven special HRI endowment funds that aid students who are seeking a lifelong career in horticulture.
Here are the seven scholarships available:
- The Timothy S. and Palmer W. Bigelow, Jr. Scholarship
- The Usrey Family Scholarship
- The Bryan A. Champion Memorial Scholarship
- The Susie & Bruce Usrey Scholarship
- The Spring Meadow Scholarship
- The "Muggets" Scholarship
- The Carville M. Akehurst Memorial Scholarship
