Kentucky-based national horticultural broker EHR (Eason Horticultural Resources) has hired Bob Munroe for its national sales team, where he will be servicing customers throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana.
Munroe has more than 30 years of experience in the green industry.
In his new role, he will be providing tailored solutions and sharing his strong horticultural knowledge to help clients grow their businesses.
EHR, founded in 1993, is a 100% employee-owned company. It services and consults retail garden centers, wholesale and retail greenhouse growers, nurseries, and landscapers.
“Joining EHR is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the industry’s finest operators,” Munroe said. “I’ve always believed that great service begins with genuine relationships, and I’m looking forward to helping nursery businesses thrive.”
Munroe is an active member of the Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association and currently serves as director-at-large for the Southeast Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association.
A lifelong Michigander, Munroe and his wife Angela enjoy spending time outdoors. With their grown children now pursuing their own paths, they share their home with their two dogs and enjoy their free time exploring nature. He's spent many years coaching youth and high school basketball, as well as CYO teams. He enjoys spending time at the gym as well as out in the woods, especially during hunting season.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Bob to our team,” said Mike Pezzillo, president and COO at EHR. “His enthusiasm, experience and customer-first mindset align perfectly with our mission and values. We know Bob’s insight and dedication will greatly benefit customers throughout his territory.”
