Kentucky-based national horticultural broker Eason Horticultural Resources has hired Jason McCarty to join the 100% employee-owned company's national sales team.
McCarty has worked and served in the green industry for more than 30 years. His work experience includes high-end landscape maintenance and design, garden center management and ownership.
He also has experience in sales for wholesale greenhouse growers of plugs, liners, prefinished and finished plant material and as a manufacturer’s representative for potting soil. McCarty has a passion for connecting people and plants to help them be successful and find joy in what they grow.
McCarty and his wife, Kimberly, have two children and live in Northeast Georgia. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Green Industry Association for several years, including one year as chairman.
Established in 1993, EHR services and consults retail garden centers, wholesale and retail greenhouse growers, nurseries and landscapers.
