Encore Azalea is giving individuals with less than perfect gardens a chance to win a garden makeover. Participants are invited to submit photos and a short essay through the Encore Azalea website (www.encoreazalea.com) detailing why their garden is the worst garden and deserves a makeover.
Once chosen, Encore Azalea will coordinate with the individual as well as local growers to develop a flourishing garden. Encore Azalea will donate the plants and provide care instructions to ensure the azaleas have a full and healthy life, producing blooms season after season. The winning submission will be announced on Wednesday, April 13.
The contest kicks off on March 15 and online submissions will be accepted through April 4. Encore will coordinate with garden bloggers to spread the word about this contest and encourage individuals to create online submissions. All submissions including photos and essays will be reviewed, and the winning submission will be selected by Encore Azalea inventor, Buddy Lee.
