Endless Sumer and Bailey Nurseries will host a Twitter garden party on March 31 from 2 to 3 p.m. Central. A panel of experts from around the country will be answering consumer gardening questions. Participants will be tweeting on what’s new and what works, covering everything from starting a basic herb garden to creating spectacular color containers.
“Our goal is to spread the message that gardening is fun and easy to do,” said Jonathan Pedersen, brand development manager at Bailey Nurseries. “Twitter gives us a great format to share advice and ideas. It allows us to reach both experienced and new gardeners, and hear about their interests and activities.”
The event, sponsored by the Endless Summer Collection, will feature prizes and advice for the consumers who participate. To be eligible to win, consumers simply RSVP and take part in the Twitter Party using the hashtag #GardenParty. Prizes include: A $100 gift card to a local garden center, Endless Summer hydrangeas, Mud garden gloves and more.
