The Espoma Company, a leading manufacturer and marketer of natural gardening solutions, has acquired the Organica consumer lawn & garden brand from Pathway Holdings, LLC.
“This acquisition gives us access to a well-regarded brand along with proven technologies that are based on years of research and development," said Espoma Vice President Jeremy Brunner, who added that Espoma plans to continue the Organica Four Step Lawn Program and will add the K-Neem brand to its family of Earth tone control products.
“Organica was successful in offering an all-organic, four-step lawn program that was easy for consumers to understand and proven to work. We plan on continuing and growing that business exclusively with the independent garden center channel,” Brunner said.
The Espoma Company is a fourth generation, family-owned business that has been a pioneer in organic gardening since 1929. Espoma offers a complete selection of natural plant foods, lawn foods, control products, and potting mixes that are available nationwide.
