MILLVILLE, NJ. -- Espoma and the National Gardening Association will recognize and reward the efforts of one retailer that is working to protect and improve the environment.
The Espoma Environmental Stewardship Award will recognize this retailer for using the most effective, interesting and innovative practices in their gardens and landscapes to help protect the environment and make their corner of the world a better place.
The award is provided annually by The National Gardening Association and The Espoma Company to the retail center who voluntarily demonstrates these outstanding environmental practices and initiatives. The inaugural award in 2012 was given to Flamingo Road Nursery of Davie, Fla. Retailers can apply for the 2013 award at www.espoma.com/eesa.
The 2013 Retail Center Award will be announced at the Independent Garden Center Show on August 21, 2013.
