Fisher Farms, headquartered in Gaston, Ore., has joined the American Beauties Native Plants program as a supplier-partner of finished native plants to retailers and independent garden centers.
Fisher Farms plans to sell regionally appropriate native plants in the Pacific Northwest, as well as Utah, Idaho, Colorado and Montana, concentrating initially in Oregon and Washington State.
According to Jerry Brown, Fisher Farms’ marketing and business development director, customers are demanding plants that are easy care, use fewer resources and are showy and rewarding. Native plants that thrive in local conditions and attract wildlife fill this need.
“We’re excited to be growing and selling the American Beauties Native Plants brand, which opens up new marketing opportunities for us,” Brown said. “They’re the nation’s premier native plant brand and offer successful garden and landscape solutions for commercial landscapers and home gardeners.”
