On Dec. 5 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City, media and magazine professionals gathered for FOLIO's Eddie & Ozzie Awards Breakfast. More than 150 awards were handed out to consumer, b-to-b, regional and association magazines. And changes in the industry were reflected by new award categories related to content marketing and social media.
Garden Center magazine won in the Eddie's Business to Business, Retail, Single Article category for the "Branch into berries" article written by Karen Varga for the November/December 2012 issue.
Garden Center's sister publication at GIE Media, A Garden Life, was a finalist in one Eddie and one Ozzie category and received honorable mentions in each.
