On Friday, Oct. 31, The Garden Center Group and BoomerWrangle announced a joint venture affecting the independent garden center industry across North America.

The collaboration combines The Garden Center Group’s decades of experience in business benchmarking, retail strategy, human resources, capital improvement and marketing with BoomerWrangle’s digital expertise. Together, they hope to build a connected ecosystem of innovation, collaboration and commerce — empowering independent garden centers to thrive in the digital age.

From e-commerce solutions and intranet platforms to workplace applications and integrated POS solutions, this partnership is meant to provide the tools and technology to help independent garden centers grow smarter, stronger and more connected.

“We’re beyond excited to partner with BoomerWrangle,” said Danny Summers, managing director of The Garden Center Group. “Their fresh, innovative approach perfectly complements our deep business management roots and garden retailing expertise. Together, we’ll set new standards for success and help shape the garden centers of tomorrow.”

“This partnership is about possibility,” added Souny Kennedy, co-founder of BoomerWrangle. “We’re honored to build upon the strength of The Garden Center Group, led by Danny and Karen Summers — bringing technology, creativity and connection to an industry that inspires growth in every sense of the word.”

The new venture officially launches Jan. 1, 2026, with a lineup of initiatives and digital rollouts planned throughout the year. The partnership’s first major reveal will take place at The Garden Center Group Fall Event in Cleveland, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2026.
