Color is always on-trend … but which color? I always, always review Pantone’s color forecast each year. You will see these colors reflected in fashion, magazines, home décor and hopefully gardening accessories. Whether it is conscious or subconscious, your customers will expect to see these fashion colors in your store.
Lucky for us, Pantone has gone with Emerald Green as the “it” color for 2013. My bet is you have a greenhouse full of emerald green just waiting put your customer’s homes on trend. Make sure your pottery reflects and complements the on-trend colors as well.
Remember, houseplants are a decorating tool these days, so be sure to offer up cachepots that coordinate and complement your indoor plants selection. Merchandise them like you would inside a home so customers can visualize placement in their own homes or as stylish gift options.
