An exclusive Nov. 11 "virtual sit down" with garden center retailer Gary Jones will kick off the new Garden Center Professionals Roundtable, a retail education program endorsed and sponsored by Garden Center magazine and by the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers.
Jones, vice president of Armstrong Garden Centers of California, will be the first featured speaker during the live Web-based seminar series, which will run throughout the year and offer a wide range of notable speakers.
Anne Obarski, retail strategist and president of Merchandise Concepts, will moderate the sessions, which will allow webinar participants to talk with some of the bigger names on the national Garden Center scene, as well as with some high-profile business "celebrity gurus" from outside the garden center arena.
