Kids at one daycare center help tend a 60-foot table garden and eat much of the homegrown produce for lunch. They eat stewed green tomatoes because they grew them," says pediatrician Laura Jana, owner of the Primrose School of Legacy and co-author of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Food Fights. "I didn't do that well with my own kids."
