Griffin Greenhouse Supplies
Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, a nationally recognized leader in horticultural distribution with more than 75 years of experience, is expanding its independent retail garden center distribution business to the West Coast with a newly established facility in Portland, Oregon.
The news comes after BFG Supply acquired the independent garden center distribution business of Central Garden and Pet., which Griffin said allowed it to acquire more than 50 years of retail experience through Central Garden and Pet's sales representatives.
“It is exciting to bring our 75 years of experience servicing the East Coast to garden centers West of the Rocky Mountains,” Griffin Greenhouse Supplies Managing Director Andrew Barry said in a statement. “We look forward to developing new partnerships and servicing the retail lawn and garden segment on the West Coast.”
The company said the expansion is a significant step toward strengthening Griffin’s position as a premier provider of horticultural products and services across the U.S.
“By combining the extensive industry experience of Central Garden and Pet sales representatives with Griffin’s established legacy, the company is poised to offer an unparalleled level of support and expertise to independent retail garden centers in the region,” the company said in a statement.
