In order to help cultivate the next generation of gardeners, GrowIt! has teamed up with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show to create a one-of-a-kind physical-to-digital experience. Every single plant at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show will be uploaded to the GrowIt! app. This means that every single plant will also be identified and attached to detailed plant care information. The show takes place March 12-20 on Navy Pier in Chicago.
Over the last few years, the Chicago Flower & Garden Show has been making great strides to reach younger audiences and bring gardening into the 21st century. It has incorporated exciting speakers, interactive displays, attractive gardens and now GrowIt!, a rapidly-growing consumer plant technology initiative.
The Chicago Flower & Garden Show is the first show in the world to be integrated with GrowIt!, offering a streamlined experience to every visitor. Visitors will now be able to walk away with useable information for every plant they see.
The GrowIt! Team will also act as the support desk at the show, answering plant questions for folks who have yet to join the smartphone revolution, and offering tech support for people interested in learning how to use the GrowIt! App throughout the season.
