On March 23, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a landmark piece of legislation containing sweeping changes that overhaul the U.S. health care system.
This webinar, organized by the National Pest Management Association, will teach small business owners how these changes can affect their companies, when they’ll take effect and what owners should do right now to prepare.
Additionally, attendees will learn how to implement steps to minimize your risks from the changing regulations and potentially position your company to take advantage of tax credits that are part of the bill.
Presenter Ashley Gillihan is a member of the Alston & Bird’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. Gillihan represents employers and third party administrators in a variety of health and welfare benefit plan compliance matters, including, but not limited to, consumer driven health care plan design, tax qualification and other Internal Revenue Code issues, ERISA and HIPAA portability and privacy issues.
